Provides resource assistance with social service agencies, including long-term follow-up.   Assists refugees and immigrants by assessing their needs and by providing classes and groups to help overcome acculturation difficulties.   Helps refugee and immigrant families access energy assistance, housing and other social service programs. ReWA Staff members can provide language interpretation services themselves, based on availability, or can help clients connect to one.

Offers free and confidential information, direct assistance and advocacy to individuals and families who speak Russian or Chinese languages and have limited English language skills. Helps people to navigate systems, find resources, learn about programs and connect to their community. Services include, but are not limited to the following: - Help with basic needs such as health care, food stamp, housing, financial security benefits, transportation, etc. - Sign up ESL and assistance in naturalization application - Assistance with children’s school issues - Signing up for social and recreational activities - Child care resources and school system – Informational and educational workshops All services provided are confidential.

Provides academic support for Somali and Spanish speaking families and their elementary students at Kimball Elementary and Maple Elementary School. Twice a week, students receive academic support and literacy instruction from trained professionals and skilled volunteers.  Families of the students work with culturally-specific case managers to learn about the American school system and best practices for supporting their students.

Provides advocacy and family support for Cambodian and Spanish speaking families regarding needs such as -  Immigration -  Medical services -  Housing -  Legal -  Education

Case managers provide assistance in accessing basic and emergency resources, naturalization assistance, individual ESL instruction, public benefits application procedures. Provides Obama Healthcare and WA Apple Health ( Medicaid) health advocacy. Assists clients in applying for unemployment benefits and SNAP/EBT. Intensive case management services assist immigrants and refugees in overcoming barriers to self-sufficiency that are caused by difficulty in accessing and appropriately utilizing the health and human service systems. Home visits are available.

Provides assessment and pre-testing of English language skills. Enrolls students in English as a second language class at Everett Community College and Edmonds Community College and offers tutoring assistance.

Provides assistance with immigration counseling, advocacy, services for elderly individuals, employment projects, English as a Second Language (ESL) tutoring, citizenship classes, naturalization information, assistance with forms and benefits, and referrals to outside organization for services.

Helps immigrants with routine immigration matters, such as applying for green cards, family reunification, employment authorization and citizenship. Assists with the immigration process for refugees and those who want to be reunited with family members abroad. Provides refugee resettlement services for State Department Assigned refugees and those with Special Immigrant Visas (SIV).

Provides information and referral to services available in Snohomish County for refugees and sponsors.

Provides group and individual instruction on topics relevant to successful adjustment in the United States.
