Offers active sports, community education and recreation programs. Class locations may vary from Kent Commons.

Provides a location in the community where area residents can access classes and activities. Each center is different, but they usually offer exercise classes, arts classes and serve as a place for coalitions and neighborhood groups to meet. Contact the local center to find what is available, and for information on facility use/rentals. Some examples of services include: Senior Programs Offers a series of courses, including arts and crafts, cardio, yoga, weight training, dancing and more, that are targeted towards adults aged fifty and older. Adult Sports Offers many sports available throughout the year. Includes some at the local community centers as well as area parks and sports facilities. Youth Offers sports, summer/holiday camps, Scout Adventures, and services to families that are homeschooling.

Spartan Recreation Center is the main community center operated by the City of Shoreline. It is a full service community center, offering a full-size gymnasium, weight and fitness machine room and multi-purpose classrooms, locker room and shower facilities on site. A kitchen facility is available for classes, rentals or other special events.

Offers classes for adults in areas of fitness, outdoor education, trips, lunch programs, crafts and general enrichment. Volunteering opportunities available.

Rental facilities are available for meetings, group swims or birthday parties.  In some cases, meeting rooms are available immediately, though other facilities have a months-long waiting list.

Services include: fax, copies, printing, free Wifi, public computer access, tele-health kiosk, vaccines, senior services, Head Start, community meals, DSHS and other application support, a health fair on the 3rd Saturday in May 10am-2pm, Trick Or Treat Resource Fair 5-7pm Oct 31st, notary public and more.

Sporting activities held in the gym for all ages include basketball, volleyball, racquetball and wallyball.   Little League, aquatics and water sport classes and lessons are also available.   Activities in fitness room include weight training, fitness classes and aerobics.   Classes for preschoolers, youth and adults include arts, crafts and dance.
