Provides comprehensive outpatient services for individuals with substance use disorder and their families.   Consultation offers a free assessment with a counselor to determine eligibility for services.   Offers a 72-hour Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program consisting of Phases I and II. Phase I:  -  Program consists of individual counseling, alcohol and drug education, and group therapy. -  Meets five evenings weekly over four weeks for adult program, three evenings weekly over eight weeks for adolescent program.    Phase II:  -  Meets one night per week.  -  Adult program lasts 26 weeks, adolescent program 10 weeks.  -  Includes ongoing group therapy sessions and family group counseling.  -  Day program is also available.   Individual, group counseling is available.   Group therapy is monitored for deferred prosecution. Court Referral Service evaluates client's involvement with alcohol and other drugs, and recommends an appropriate course of action.   Provides DUI Assessments.

Alcohol & Drug Information School State-approved instruction fulfills legal requirements for individuals court-referred to attend an Alcohol Drug Information School (ADIS). The educational, 8-hour course provides students with valuable information about alcohol and other drugs. The course is designed to enhance responsible decision-making with regards to alcohol and other drug use. Students are encouraged to explore the effects of alcohol and other drug use on themselves, their families and their world.  DUI Evaluations Provides a court-ordered assessment of individuals who have been convicted of driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol to evaluate the severity of their problem and make a recommendation to the court regarding appropriate treatment.  Outpatient Treatment Provides outpatient substance use disorder services that usually requires fewer than nine hours per week of attendance, which may include individual and group counseling, 12-step meetings, social and recreational activities, educational and vocational services, life skills training, primary health care, perinatal health care, relapse prevention services, a continuing care program and supportive services (transportation and parenting skills development). Length of service can be anywhere between six months to two years depending on the needs of the individual and/or court order.  Intensive Outpatient Treatment  Provides outpatient SUD services that usually require 9-20 hours per week of attendance, which may include individual and group counseling, 12-step meetings, social and recreational activities, educational and vocational services, life skills training, primary health care, perinatal health care, relapse prevention services, a continuing care program and supportive services (transportation and parenting skills development).  Agency provides BH-ASO-certified service(s).

Offers a state-certified substance use disorder outpatient program for youth. Drug and Alcohol Assessment: Assessments for adolescent substance use disorders fulfill school and legally-based requirements for alcohol and drug assessments. Includes a urine toxicology screen. ​Outpatient Counseling: Provides counseling regarding a teen's substance use and addiction. Includes counseling on the development of refusal skills, the examination of life choices and consequences, as well as education about the impact of drugs on the developing brain. Co-Occurring Program: Serves adolescents and young adults with both substance use and mental health issues. Identifies and treats mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, or ADHD in adolescents with substance use. Ongoing monitoring includes urine toxicology.

DUI Evaluations Provides a court-ordered assessment of individuals who have been charged with driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol to evaluate the severity of their problem and make a recommendation to the court regarding appropriate intervention services. Using various tests, screens, and questionnaires the counselor gathers data revealing the extent of the client's involvement with alcohol and other drugs. The client’s point of view of his/her substance use, and other verifiable, or objective data (e.g., BAL at time of arrest, driving abstract, etc.) are needed to make the diagnosis. Washington State Department of Licensing (DOL) laws mandate that all persons convicted of DUI/PC shall complete a Substance Use Assessment at a DOH Behavioral Health approved facility. MERIT is a WA State approved facility for DOL Assessment, ADIS, Treatment, and Completion Reporting.

Provides community-based services to individuals in need with unmet substance abuse issues. Covering Clallam County, West Jefferson, and Local tribal communities.

Provides drug and alcohol detection through observed urinalysis sent to a licensed toxicology laboratory certified by the College of American Pathologists. Must have picture ID.

Offers a number of individualized services for Yakima, Kittitas and Benton/Franklin County schools and other youth organizations. Services include the SAP Programs, educational and prevention seminars, workshops for teachers and leaders of youth organizations, and support groups for adolescents. Also provides screening and brief intervention, assessments and referrals, therapy groups, and educational services for high-risk adolescents; all services are confidential. Graduate students in the UW clinical psychology doctoral training program working under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals provide psychotherapy and other psychological services to UW students and residents of the Seattle metropolitan area. Graduate student therapists work with children, teens and adults who are experiencing psychological distress. Clients must be a good match for a therapist-in-training. Prospective clients in acute crisis, those who require hospitalization or intensive medical intervention will typically be referred out or to specialized services within the Clinic (e.g., the Marsha M. Wait lists are typically long for these services. CALM Clinic is a specialty clinic that provides training and clinical services in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, obsessive compulsive, and traumatic stressor-related disorders.

Assessment - a comprehensive, face-to-face diagnostic interview to identify areas of concern as described by the individual. We collect a social, behavioral, and mental health history, document the student's history of involvement with alcohol and other drugs, as well as any other health concerns. Assessment starts the development of an individualized service plan. Intervention - a formal response to behavioral health risks intended to increase understanding of chemical dependency and to identify and reduce risk factors associated with developing substance use disorder. Treatment - Outpatient services are are guided by an individualized, formal treatment plan and vary in intensity and duration. Services include individual, group, and/or family counseling. Continuing Care - Provides ongoing support, reinforcement, and case management for individuals who are attempting to maintain a recovery lifestyle and are at risk for relapse or other behavioral problems. Several locations offer mental health services in addition to substance use disorder services.
