Provides high-quality, affordable, and accessible child care for Seattle families, preparing students for Kindergarten and beyond, with the goal of eliminating the racially disproportionate kindergarten readiness gap. In partnership with the City of Seattle’s Department of Education and Early Learning (DEEL), SPP helps prepare 3 and 4-year-olds for kindergarten and beyond, while offering tuition assistance, family financial assistance, and health screenings. Early learning coaches help SPP teachers provide a culturally responsive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for all students, and some classrooms offer dual language instruction.

Additionally the Tacoma Day preschool is combined with Washington State ECEAP. School children are served by Tacoma Public Schools District 10. are transported to Bryant, Grant, Edna Travis and Impact schools Tacoma Day actively participates in Early Achievers, the quality rating system of Washington State. Breakfast, lunch, and snack are provided at no additional cost and meet CACFP standards. Tacoma Day, a non-profit, has been in business since 1911.
