Clark County Veterans Assistance Fund offered at Clark County Veterans Assistance Center
Assists veterans, widowed spouses or dependents of veterans with the following needs: rent; mortgage; energy; food; transportation; prescription drug expenses; emergency dental; clothing; car repair; and burial costs.
Provides Veterans with rent assistance, rental deposit assistance, move-in assistance, mortgage assistance, utility assistance, food vouchers, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, bus passes or gas vouchers, prescription drug expenses, clothing or tools for work, car repair, storage unit assistance, communication assistance, homeless services, emergency dental costs, and burial/cremation costs. Individual types of assistance have separate requirements and limits.

Emergency Financial Needs offered at Navy-Marine Corp Relief Society - Naval Base Kitsap - (Bangor)
Provides help for essentials such as emergency transportation, funerals, medical/dental bills, food, rent, education, utilities, disaster relief, and essential vehicle repairs. Serves active duty and retired Sailors, Marines, and their families only.
The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society can provide interest-free loans or grants to help with emergency needs such as: * Emergency Transportation * Funeral Expenses * Medical/dental Bills (patient's share) * Food * Rent * Utilities * Disaster Relief Assistance * Child Care Expenses * Essential Vehicle Repairs * Unforeseen Family Emergencies. Servicemember or eligible family members who have an emergency need should contact the nearest NMCRS location and make an appointment to be seen by an NMCRS caseworker. Bring your ID card and latest LES, if available, with you. If that office is closed and the emergency is of such a nature that it cannot wait until the next business day (e.g. death in the immediate family), the answering machine will provide instructions for obtaining "after hours" assistance. When there is no NMCRS office in the area, an available Coast Guard Mutual Aid or American Red Cross Office can process your request on behalf of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.

Provides financial assistance and addiction recovery services for musicians and others with at least five years professional experience in the music industry or credited contribution to six commercially released recordings or videos.
Provides emergency financial assistance to musicians and recording industry professionals in times of need.
Assistance grants may be applied to medical and dental expenses, such as doctor/dentist/hospital bills, prescriptions, addiction recovery treatment, psychotherapy and treatment for chronic illnesses.

Community referrals to partner agencies for housing, case management services, VA claims and other services are given when needed. Offers financial assistance to cancer patients in urgent need who are within a three-month window of treatment. Cancer patients may be eligible for a one-time grant of up to $450 to help with expenses including the following:

Assists people with many temporary emergency needs (e.g. food baskets, financial support for utility bills, work clothing and glasses).
Works with 18 churches to distribute food each weekday and assists financially with several emergency needs including medical, dental, and prescription bills, utility bills, propane and firewood needed for heating and cooking, work clothing, immunizations, and glasses (no contact lenses assistance available). All financial assistance is provided to the vendor on behalf of the community member.
