InCharge Debt Solutions is a national non-profit credit counseling agency offering confidential budget counseling, debt management, housing counseling, bankruptcy counseling and financial education programs to consumers, including military personnel serving overseas.

Offers financial reviews and education in person, over the phone, or online. Services include: - Credit and debt counseling. - Bankruptcy counseling. - Housing counseling (pre-purchase, foreclosure prevention, and reverse mortgage). - Student loan debt counseling. - Debt management plans. - Credit report reviews. - Foreclosure information. - Tips for first-time veteran and military homebuyers.

Classes, offered in both English and Spanish, meet once a week and are open to the public.

Supports the financial capability of individuals with disabilities by helping improve credit, reduce debt, gain access to appropriate financial services, and increase savings.   Program begins with a financial well-being assessment to reveal overall status of the client's finances. Provides small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with workshops, business development advice, credit counseling, and access to a variety of resources. Small Business Counseling: One on one counseling for small businesses focused on license application guidance, business plan development, and outreach on information for capital access. Entrepreneurship Classes: 8-week free entrepreneurship training course in English and Spanish that covers marketing, legal requirements, taxes, licensing, and insurance issues specific to participants. Food Cart Incubator: Program providing first-hand experience to aspiring food –entrepreneurs. Our incubator program offer a business operation space, a commercial kitchen, food vending carts, marketing support, and one-on-one business assistance. WMBE Certification: Training business certificate for minority or women-owned through the Washington State Office of Minority & Women’s Business Enterprises.

Provides free online learning communities and counseling resources to help service members with financial challenges during and after transitioning. Helps service members and families achieve their goals.

Assist consumers in making informed decisions about managing their debt.  Credit experts will conduct a confidential counseling session to determine the specific financial situation and present the options available to help manage and pay off debts and improve long term credit standing.    One of the options available to our clients who are unable to make significant progress on their unsecured debt, have fallen behind and can't get caught up, or are dealing with the stress of collection calls is a Debt Management Plan.  American Financial Solutions has relationships with creditors to put together a structured repayment plan to get clients on track and on the road to becoming debt free.    Typical benefits may include:   Lowering overall interest rates.    Re aging of accounts.  (Bringing your accounts current if you have fallen behind.)    Elimination of late and over the limit fees.   A structured repayment plan will consolidate all of the clients accounts into a single consistent payment each month which can be automatically deducted from a bank account.  Once an account is paid in full, American Financial Solutions will roll that payment over to other accounts.

This is a free two-hour workshop to help you improve and understand your credit standing. Credit Counseling workshops are available for all ages and genders! Participants can expect to be provided with the following information: - Receive a copy of your credit report - Learn how to read and understand your credit report - Understand why a credit report is needed for financing and how it can effect your spending - Learn what items impact your credit score rating and how to use them to your benefit - Learn about the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act - Find ways to improve your credit score
