Clark County Veterans Assistance Fund offered at Clark County Veterans Assistance Center
Assists veterans, widowed spouses or dependents of veterans with the following needs: rent; mortgage; energy; food; transportation; prescription drug expenses; emergency dental; clothing; car repair; and burial costs.
Provides Veterans with rent assistance, rental deposit assistance, move-in assistance, mortgage assistance, utility assistance, food vouchers, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, bus passes or gas vouchers, prescription drug expenses, clothing or tools for work, car repair, storage unit assistance, communication assistance, homeless services, emergency dental costs, and burial/cremation costs. Individual types of assistance have separate requirements and limits.

Operates a drop-in center for homeless individuals ages 25 and older in the Auburn area. Offers laundry, showers, restrooms and ID assistance. Serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Provides a cooling/warming center during weather advisories.
Offers day shelter for adults experiencing homelessness in the Auburn area. Services include the following:

- Limited assistance for obtaining ID/driver licenses
Opens a cooling/warming center during weather advisories. No beds available, but clients can sit (and sleep) at tables, eat, charge phones, watch TV, come and go, etc.

Offers assistance related to getting or retaining employment. This includes work gear and clothing; licensing and certifications; and/or transportation assistance until the client can secure some income from employment and is more stable and able to address basic costs of living.
Identification Documents
Helps with the costs of procuring a WA State ID. Also helps with a WA Driver's License if the client has a vehicle that is insured, registered, and used for employment. Helps secure and pay for supportive documentation in order to get a state ID. May also help with immigration paperwork fees as needed, and in partnership with other immigration agencies.
Physical Wellness
Assists with medication co-pays, reasonable dental and optical fees.
Overall program goal is to help clients achieve overall stability in the community and to reach achievable self sufficiency.
