Explains the family law process if a party has to go to court. Identify and help locate forms for domestic cases and minor guardianship cases only. Helps parties schedule court hearings. Checks paperwork before a party goes to court. The facilitator cannot:
- Give legal advice or help with legal strategy.
- Represent a party in court.
- Fill out forms
- Provide assistance in adult guardianships, adoptions, landlord/tenant cases or other civil or criminal matters.
