Fees
Birth Certificates: $25 for each ordered. Death Certificates: $25 for each ordered. Accepts credit/debit cards*, cash, check, and money orders. *Fee charged for credit card transactions is $2.00 or 2.30%, whichever is greater. *Fee charged for debit card transactions is $2.00 or 1%, whichever is greater. No fee will be charged for issuing a birth certificate of a child, requested by a parent or guardian, who is eligible for federal or state food benefits and is enrolling the child in an early learning program or a public K-12 school. Eligibility must be proven with a DSHS determination letter and an enrollment letter for the current school year from the program or school on official letterhead.
