Eligibility

Must be a boy or girl ages 6-12 years old and willing to meet with a volunteer 3-4 hours per week, 3-4 times per month. They must live in a single parent home or have unique circumstances creating a need for an additional adult role model. There must be a one year commitment to the program and the participant must be a resident of Spokane or Kootenai County.

Description

Provides mentoring programs where children from primarily single-parent families are matched to adult volunteers. Volunteers see the children 3-4 hours, 3-4 times per month for at least a year, sharing interests they both enjoy.
