Eligibility

- Single adult veterans experiencing chronic homelessness in Mason County - Must have verified veteran status, a documented disability, and meet HUD's definition of chronically homeless - Monthly income at or below 50% of Area Median Income for Mason County ($2,679.17) - Applicants who have previously received a housing voucher must be in good standing with their prior housing agency - Program is best suited for individuals seeking a clean and sober environment - Individuals with sex offender status are not eligible - Individuals with convictions for manufacturing methamphetamine are not eligible - Individuals with violent criminal convictions within the past 3 years are not eligible - Individuals with any criminal convictions within the past 12 months are not eligible

Description

Provides permanent supportive housing for single adult veterans experiencing homelessness through a tiny-home village model serving up to 30 residents. The program offers on-site supportive services within a recovery-focused, clean and sober living environment to promote long-term housing stability. Residents live in fully furnished, single-occupancy tiny homes equipped with a private shower, toilet, sink, wall heater, microwave, and crockpot. They also have access to shared community spaces. This village is exclusively for veterans in Mason County.
