Eligibility

Those that are living within unincorporated King County.   Also contracts with cities of Beaux Arts, Burien, Carnation, Covington, Kenmore, Maple Valley, Newcastle, Sammamish, SeaTac, Shoreline, Skykomish and Woodinville, as well as Muckleshoot Indian Tribe, Metro Transit Police and Sound Transit Police.

Application process

Call 911 or local non-emergency police numbers; see branches for appropriate numbers. For in person services, office is located in room W-116 of the King County Courthouse. Fingerprinting services by appointment.

Provides law enforcement for unincorporated and contracted areas of King County; see branches for information on particular areas.   Operates full precincts in the following cities, as well as numerous storefronts and substations:   -  Burien -  Maple Valley -  Sammamish -  SeaTac -  Shoreline (offers CPL applications and additional fingerprinting services) - Kenmore (offers CPL applications and additional fingerprinting services)
