Description

Benefits for mentally and legally incompetent veterans are paid to a fiduciary who manages the money on behalf of the veteran.   The Veterans Administration (VA) audits the fiduciaries to ensure the needs of the veteran are being met.

Helps eligible veterans and their families obtain benefits. Offers assistance with home loans, education and training programs, employment assistance, guardianship and fiduciary services. Direct home loans are available for eligible Native American veterans. Operates a smoking cessation helpline to help veterans quit smoking.
